Proposition 65 Warning

What is Proposition 65?

California's Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings about exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. The list of chemicals is maintained by the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA).

Chemicals of Concern

Some garden products may contain or expose you to chemicals on the Prop 65 list, including lead and cadmium. These chemicals may be present in soil amendments, fertilizers, or treated seeds.

Garden Product Warning

WARNING: Some products sold by ERIC MAVORA INC may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling garden products. For more information, visit www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

Treated Seeds Notice

Some seeds may be treated with fungicides or other chemicals. Treated seeds are labeled as such on the product page. Do not use treated seeds for food, feed, or oil purposes. Wear gloves when handling treated seeds.

Fertilizer and Soil Warning

Fertilizers, soil amendments, and compost products may contain naturally occurring minerals and metals, including lead, cadmium, and arsenic. These are naturally present in soil and organic materials. Handle with gloves and wash hands after use.
